Nice job. I personally liked the brass due to making it look like the bottom of a bullet casing. Especially since thats the design the creator intended. However, it looks good and if you prefer that look I totally get it. Awesome job either way.

Both ways look good. In jewelry I'm used to seeing gold and silver side by side in nice contrasts. The brass color is kind of supposed to go along with the concept of the pivot being a brass cartridge head. Nice mod job! 👍🗡️

Just tap the lanyard tube with a flaring tool. You could easily tighten it back up. Oh, if you don’t have a flaring tool, just use a round nail set.

How much are one of these worth? Ive bee. Looking at one at my local sportsmans warhouse. Its gonna go in the water with me plus i sweat like a pig. I dont wanna waste money if they're are better alternatives out there. Thanks for any advise or infor. Im a fanman of knives. They are tools. Doest need to be automatic. Unless i have a severe issue with my hand or mouth i can get most knives open fine. I like knives. My dream knife is an emerson HHMVK. Had an opportunity bout 20 years ago when the knife dropped and my poisonous gf was about to buy it for me. Mouse was on button i said no and left. Huge mistake. If i knew the amount of hell id be put through i shouldve clicked it for her. Once i found it didnt have the money. Had money couldn't find one. God, i would love that knife. It may just be HMVK, but i swear there were two h's. Having that knife would fix a piece of me that broke back then. It really would and i know that sounds dumb. No capping here gentlemen.
